Wooden Vessel from Kangwon-do province. The soil in Kangwon-do province did not have the good quality necessary to bake pots, but wood was abundant. Mostly willow was usedThe inside of a whole log was dug out to make the vessels. Wooden vessels were good substitutes for glazed pots as they had the advantage of being light and easy to move, unbreakable and durable.
